City of Niagara Falls Leased Housing Waiting List:
The waiting list for the City of Niagara Falls Housing Choice Voucher program is now closed. We are not accepting ANY applications at this time. We do not know when we will reopen our waiting list.
If you applied to the waiting list when it was open in January 2023, a lottery drawing will be held, and you will be notified of your placement on the waiting list in March 2023. You will also be provided with instructions to set up an online portal, Assistance Connect. This is a direct portal to stay in contact with the Leased Housing agency. You can check on your application, your placement ID number, and make any changes to your application prior to any appointment for eligibility.
**It is very IMPORTANT for you to update your mailing address with our office. It must be in writing. The post office or any other agency will NOT notify us if you move**.
Failure to do so may result in your application being removed from our waiting list.
An update form is provided below, just click on the link below to access the update form. You must fill the form out in its entirety and sign before submitting to this office. You may also submit any change in writing without the form. Please be sure to include your name, address, ID number (if available), phone/email, list the change (old information to new information), sign and date. Any changes can be submitted to this office through mail, fax, email (leasedhousingnf@niagarafallsny.gov), Assistance Connect, or dropped in our drop box in City Hall.

If you received a packet for a briefing orientation, you must watch the link below and follow the directions in your packet and on the video. You are responsible for the information on the video. Failure to do so will result in your application being withdrawn from the waiting list.
